Peptide Regulatory Status Tracker: 2026 Update
Framework status as of publication. This is the 2026 edition of a maintained reference. It does not publish current statuses for named compounds, because a status is only true on a date, and this page is read long after it is written. What it publishes instead is the set of frameworks a status can sit in, what each one does and does not tell you, and the method for establishing a current answer from a primary source on the day you need it.
A peptide does not have one legal status. It has a posit

Peptides and Longevity: Separating Evidence From Hype
The short answer
No peptide has been shown to extend human lifespan or slow human ageing. That is not a hedge but a description of where the evidence sits, and the question's structure explains why. A lifespan outcome takes a lifetime to measure. So every study in this field measures something else instead, a marker or a score or a rate, and asks you to accept the substitution. Almost all of the argument in longevity supplements happens inside that substitution, and it is almost never made expli

Sleep Architecture: Deep Sleep, REM, and Why Sedation Is Not Recovery
The short answer
Sleep is not one state. It moves through four distinct stages (three non-REM stages plus REM) in cycles of roughly ninety minutes, and the mix changes as the night goes on. Slow-wave sleep is concentrated in the first part of the night; REM periods get longer towards morning. That structure is what "sleep architecture" refers to, and it is the reason unconsciousness and sleep are not the same measurement. A sedative can produce the first without reproducing the second.

'Research Use Only' vs Consumer Peptide Products: What the Label Means
"Research use only" is a labelling category, not a quality grade and not a form of approval. On a peptide listing, it signals that the material is being offered for laboratory work rather than for people, and that framing carries a consequence most buyers never see: the disclosures, the dosing information, and the after-sale procedures that come with a product sold for human use are not part of what is being sold. They do not transfer to the buyer either. They simply are not there.
That is the d

Are BPC-157 and TB-500 Banned in Sport? WADA Status
Neither BPC-157 nor TB-500 is an approved human therapeutic medicine in the major regulatory jurisdictions, and that fact, rather than a printed entry, is what determines their anti-doping status. The World Anti-Doping Code's Prohibited List carries a non-approved substances category that includes substances not listed individually. Both compounds fall within the scope of that category rather than appearing as named entries, which means they are treated as prohibited at all times for athletes un
